I thought I would show some of the pictures we had taken back in September. It was different, we were downtown SLC, on the side of the Capital Theater and then just in a parking lot over by the old Cafe Pierpont. It was fun, I am not sure I totally love all of them. Jack and Rob look great in them but I don't love myself, and Cam is sort of sour looking which is so not his personality, but I guess that is what you get from a 9 month old! So the files are so big and take FOREVER to load so I only put up a few. I will maybe do some more later and maybe I can size them down for the blog.

Here you go Dad, you can see your apple tree that is growing in the back yard. There are like 12 little golden delicious apples that are on the tree. It should be a good size and giving some more fruit in 2 years!

Ashton's New House In Liberty

The Ashton's new abode! Not much to look at on the outside, but they are just so happy to be up there I don't think they care at all!:)

Nikki in the kitchen. So the kitchen and eating area have the strangest floor, it is like rock pebbles that are sealed over. It is weird and it hurts your feet if you don't have socks on, but oh well.

This is the eating area. They actually have to pay less rent if they use the furniture that was there. That is why you see some crazy stuff in there.

The kids playing on the piano. Nikki doesn't go anywhere with out that. That piano has traveled a lot of miles and it is still doing great.

I think that the best thing about the house is the massive back yard. Lizzy LOVES it and you can see why. I told Nikki I for-see some camping trips to the Ashton's back yard!:)
Ellie started school yesterday and was so excited to be the "new kid". From everything Nikki and Matt told me they seem to be very happy with the new friends Ellie is making.

I know you can't see it very well but there are a few things planted here and also on the side by the wide fence. Crystal is buying some things this week and I will be getting some things from Elder Hansen's Dad as well. We haven't been able to fix the back yard yet because we don't have enough dry days in a row. We will get there though.

Hey there everyone! Here is what our "wall of brackets" looked like this year. Each year we grow in numbers! Sorry to say the little kids really had a BAD showing this year.

But with the adult competition it came down to the final game. Hillary you picked Duke to go all the way, but your dad picked them just to the final game. So he had 92 points with no chance of getting anymore, but if Duke won, you would win by just 1 point...and guess what...Duke won! Amazing that you picked them at the beginning to go all the way! Nice job!
Here is the pick of the winning bracket! Trophy will be on it's way as soon as we locate it in the attic...long story and i know we're supposed to be displaying it in all it's glory...sorry!

It was fun! Thanks everyone for sending their brackets. We had some from Utah, Texas and Spain. Really, really cool!

Easter in St. George

We had a fun time hiking around at the Dixie Rock. This is where Zach proposed to Lauren and they were there with us as well, I just don't have them in our picture. The kids loved climbing around and Henry is an animal on those rocks. That little boy is going to be a rock climber I am sure. I have never seen him just be so aggressive and so excited to be doing something. He was fun to watch.

For John & Ally. Sam is having a great time playing with Jack and his other cousins! I took these two to Carls Jr. today and then they came back and played cars for a long time, watched a little Thomas the Tank Engine, and then played cars some more. It was a great day. There were only a couple of minor pushings towards the end, so all is good!

Tile in Hillary's Bathroom

This is one of the downstairs bathrooms. Below is the close up of the trim that goes around the shower. They are slate octagons.

This is the other downstairs bathroom with a glass tile and silver liner. Below is a close up of them.

This is the master shower. Above you can see the whole shower with the floor out of small stones. I actually have a lot of these left and can give you a really great price!:)

This is Jack's bathroom, and my smaller one in the bonus room is very similar. You can see the view above.

This is subway tiles around the bottom part they go straight around and then a trim and then the subway tiles are slanted diagonal with a larger trim piece around the top.

This is the floor with small octagons. It is very dirty so I am sorry but you can see what it looks like. Lowe's right now has a bigger octagon w/smaller octagon in between and it is very cute as well.

Baby Will & Mission Call

Here it is! For those who don't know the story, Mom & Dad were down at the MTC and they heard that a couple got their call and they were going spanish speaking so Mom called me and asked me to go up to their house and see if there was a FedEx envelope on the front door. So I drove up there and sure enough there it was. We finally met up in Ally's hospital room like 2 hours after she has given birth, you are such a good sport Ally, anyway and when Dad saw the envelope he thought that it may not be the call, he thought maybe it was conference tickets or something, which would have been totally anti-climactic if it really were.

Here are Rachael & Garrett's pics from our trip to SLC! We had a great time! Skiing was so fun for Grace especially and I know that Jack loved it too. We had a great time bowling and going to Temple Square, and really just hanging out together. Hope you all love these! Sorry that you forgot your camera on ski day, Rob.
